Quad Bikes Wanted

Do you know anything about quads UK?

I want to get one for the road, but I'm sure the surrounding Regulations / Licensing needed / safe? Any ideas? For the moment I have 21 full no claims (Car), no license bicycle, living in Exeter. Cheers!

Some quads are legal, but most are not road – check at the time of purchase.
