I managed to completely loose my four wheeler key over the winter. While fiddling with the ignition switch I managed to snap off the plastic switch that the key moves to turn the machine on. Do you know where I can purchase a key and ignition switch for my: 2007 Arctic Cat, 4×4, EFI, FIS dark green (not the Arctic Cat neon green), A2007IBT4CUSG online? The dealership here in Alaska wants so much for them! There has to be a non brand part out there. I appreciate your help!
I don’t think you will find an ignition switch/key for your quad unless you buy OEM. It wouldn’t make sense for a company to manufacture aftermarket ignitions for quads specific to the model. Even if the company could offer it for half the price of OEM, they wouldn’t have a demand for the product unless the OEM ignition failed, which is not all to common. You could buy a universal switch and wire it in on the cheap, but you may have to alter your quad by cutting/drilling which will all but destroy your resale value. Sorry man, Looks like you may have to get the overpriced dealer part this time. Good luck
