There are many types of motor sports and most of them involve some kind of race. Some motor sports enjoyed by Americans include auto racing, truck racing, boat racing, motorcycle racing and ATV racing. Today, these particular boats can reach speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour, and every day a new driver is trying to beat the odds to break one of the speed records of water.

truck racing is also a popular motor sport, and has basically four different categories: Craftsman Truck Series, monster trucks, mud racing and off-road racing. truck racing is done on a straight path, on an oval track, many leagues during a race off-road, or in a sand or cordoned off the area containing mud pools.
