need help understanding the Honda ATV electrical problem?

The problem: This ATV not even click or turnouver. I installed a new starter relay and new battery, however whenever you touch the negative cable to battery terminal engine now wants to start even when the ignition is switched off and the kill switch is off. What could be another source of the problem? I do not understand what it means to be round the wrong way solenoid or stuck in the on position. How important is the polarity of the connections to the solenoid? I've been told no matter which terminal is used.

Have you removed the terminals of the components as it sounds like you have the round solenoid the wrong way? It sounds as if I was constantly winding and energy to get the boot .. Check wiring
