What are some interesting things to see and do in Sedona Arizona? (In February)?
We have a whole week and I love Rover land, or find the way down the Grand Canyon. Any suggestions?
The rock formations and landscapes are wonderful. Sedona also has a community of major artists' and galleries would be a pleasant stop if you're in the sort of thing. Flagstaff is nice little college town. Phoenix is not too far to go shopping and such. Of course it is the Grand Canyon and always worth a visit. I have backpacked in the canyon twice, but it has been for many years. I think there is a tourist steam train that takes them from Williams the edge, but do not know how expensive it is. There is an IMAX theater is also the beauty of the canyon and the museum and the few stores. If you are in really good shape can make you a day's walk down and back, but does not treat lightly. If you have not been to this part of the country, before remembering who is in the high desert of the Colorado Plateau. 5000 meters above sea level and is not going to be hot as Phoenix.
