What is the difference between SAE 80 and SAE 80W-90?
I need SAE 80 Hypoid gear oil for the front differential of my ATV. I bought an 8 oz bottle for $ 7 (scam) that was in an auto parts store and a 32 oz bottle was $ 4. but it is SAE 80W-90. What is the difference and I can use in my differential?
For you to be fine using either differential. This is not like motor oil, if you have the oil there will be fine.
