What is the best helmet cam to buy camera, bullet or other, for ATV racing, and what kind of camera is good?

I want to buy a helmet camera from a friend who can use when riding / racing his dirt bike. I considered bulletcam.com and helmetcam.com I do not know which is better. Bullet cams or other types? Are said to do it themselves, stabilization of each part and offer quick release characteristics, but the other says it offers better protection camera w / video better than the bullet cams. What line resolution should I get? 380/480/560? What features or accessories are essential? And what kind of camcorder I can get for a decent price to go with a helmet cam and make good videos? (I know I have to be able to login). Thanks for any help! I have no idea.

I stick to the helmet cam and avoid bulletcams for now … just because bulletcams are a bit more complicated. Search for a cam with about 440 resoloution (480 is normal). Make sure you have the recording easy to adapt and transfer skills (Connected to a DVD player / computer / VCR). I've included some good links that answer your question in greater depth. Matt
