The history of Go Cart Racing
Go karts were first created in the United States in the 1950s with most historians of Art Ingels accreditation as the inventor. He built his first go kart in California in 1956 and it was during this post-war period where airmen raced these go-karts as a way to pass the time.

The chassis may be open or closed. In short, closed, or caged chassis, allows protection for the driver in a rollover. The open chassis does not.

As with motor racing One kart tires can be slicks or rain tires. Slicks have no tread and are used for better traction on dry track. wets have tread and are used during the wet season. And in icy conditions are not particularly barbed manufactured tires that give a good grip on slippery ice.
Go karts are generally considered a more secure and cheaper to enter competition. With drivers of different levels can be moved many line available to reach the professional level. With the right combination of talent and practice racing alongside the top professionals is certainly a possibility.
