What Airsoft glasses lenses made out of? (Two part question, see description.)?
Well, I need glasses to airsofting I can use possibly in close quarters. And I do not want to shell out a whopping 45-50 dollars (U.S.) for special glasses, I was looking through my old stuff and found some ATV / dirt bike goggles. Are the lenses made of the same material? If so, can I use glasses riding safely Lage injury? Also, is there any (off-the-shelf) way to get my glasses more protective of what they are?
You need to check to see if the lenses are rated ANSI. That means they can withstand impacts of missiles more powerful than a BB. But seriously, the eye protection should be a primary concern when playing airsoft (especially CQB). I do not understand why people spend a lot of money for guns and then skimp on glasses.
