NJ Laws, dirt bikes street legal?

I'll work a summer job in my hometown in Monmouth County in New Jersey. Both my parents can work, so will not be able to get a ride to work. It is 4 kilometers to reach my workplace. I would not say it, but riding my bike 4 miles to work (only for manual labor more) doesn't really sound very good for me. Is there a way to drive an ATV / dirt bike to work, legally? Do I need a moped license, etc? I know the bike needs blinkers and bumpers and stuff, but the details would be great. BTW, there arent many police in my people, and I have something of a backway / Backroad to get to work. Thanks for the help.

You need a motorcycle license and the vehicle has to spend inspection with all the lights, turn signals, etc. Hope this helps!
