Bought ATV, seller wont send title? HELP!?

I bought a used ATV from a guy Sep. 22, he needed to pay the quad off, and would send me the title when he got it, he said usually less than a month to get it. I still dont have it, and he has stopped answering my emails and wont answer his phone. He have me a written bill of sale with both our signatures and the ATV vin number on the bill. I also have all the emails sent between us when making the deal. what can I do? the quad was around $4800, and was in Ohio, and I am in michigan.

and please dont tell me i shouldnt have bought it without a title, I have learned my lesson.

Well, likely he didn’t pay the quad off. Or maybe it’s in repo status.

You’re completely at his mercy. You can’t do ANYTHING without that title. Except maybe file fraud charges against him, or sue him in small claims court to get your money back.
