Wanting to get into motorcycles or ATVs?
So me and my brother have been thinking about getting dirtbikes or ATV. I have about 1k, that has about $ 500. Before we go out and stuff, I have some questions. 1) What sport is cheaper? 2) What is more fun? I'm looking for especially for its reliability, not speed (I do not plan a career or anything, just testing) I was thinking XR80 honda yamaha blaster or what bikes should we get? and finally, the big question (lol) my parents say that we are "allowed" to them, but the problem is that we have when the law) to ride … Where We can mount these without problems I do not know anyone with a farm or anything … Is there any local tracks / trials reserved for these (I'm in Bradenton, FL), thanks also, I am quite useful, I had many toys in the past that China such as crotch rockets, Gopeds, 49cc mini bikes, mini choppers, ect I also know how to put this as changing.
As the sport is cheaper, I'd say the two are more or less the same. I've been riding dirt bikes, tricycles and quads all my life and I had lots of fun in all of them! I think it just comes down to a matter of preference to which a purchase. People could give their opinions throughout the day when one thinks it is safer or more reliable, but I think it would be just that … an opinion. You have a lot of fun with safety but you can get hurt or even killed each type of machine, so be careful out there and always wear a helmet and protective gear! The two types of races you mentioned that are excellent machines boot. The Blaster would be a little faster good just by having a larger engine. I was so when I was young, and I had a lot of good times and endless hours of unforgettable ride! I'm not from Florida, so I can not help you there, but wherever you travel, obey laws, respect other peoples property and mount responsably. If people see you're not out to "break" the site, probably will not have any trouble finding a place to ride. Good to see that young people are more exit and get in the way rather than setting in front of the TV playing X-Box or computer during all day! I remember how excited I was when I got my first dirt bike! What a feeling! Have fun, be safe and remember ….. KEEP BRIGHT face up and the greasy side down! GOOD LUCK! = D
