I need information about purchasing ATV?

I am looking for a used SUV that could be used to clean the snow on my way and have fun at the same time. Firstly I have no much money to spend and second I do not know anything about ATV. So my question is: Do I have to buy a utility quad or sports can do the job of plowing the snow too. If the case should be a utility atv not have to be a 4×4 or 4×2 would make it. Any other information you need to know and I missed it would be helpful, Thanks
