I have a Kawasaki Lakota sport 300 atv. I need to know how to adjust the valves on it.?

ATV is a 2003. I NED for how to adjust valves member of our body what to adjust to them. Thank you.

With the engine cold. Remove the valve covers. Remove the cover that shows the timing marks on the stator and the cover that lets you put a key in the flywheel bolt. Crank the engine in the direction that is running on (If you turn the engine backwards will grunting sound. Become the other side.) While viewing the intake valve. When the intake valve opens (low) and closed (it comes back up) go to TDC on the wheel. You are now at TDC on its compression stroke. This is where you adjust the valves. Check your valve clearance and adjust if necessary. Crank the engine a few revolutions and recheck. Replace lids and caps and run. If you hear a loud noise or crack then in the race were not correct when you adjust the valves. Start over. The specification of settlement must be on a sticker on your machine. Perhaps under the seat?? It's in the instruction manual as well. I have that information in my tool box, but is at home. Contact me if you can not find it and I e-mail to you. I think it's 003 in the admission and 006 in the exhaust, but my memory is not always so good.
