How much money would it cost to build this house?
Ok, my uncle who became CEO at his company about 3 years ago is building this massive farm in MS…how much would this cost because it’s alot of stuff..he’s always had money but I think he’s making millions now…ok he’s already paid cash for 1,000 acres and said he’s going to build a 3-story,10,000 square foot brick house, 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, indoor half-court basketball court, gym, game room, tool shed, garage with ATV’s and 4-wheelers, 5 purebred Texas Longhorn cattle(I think 4 females and one mal), 50-acre lake stocked with catfish, crappie, bash, & perch, a couple of trails, some deer stands(because there’s deer on the land and you can hunt too), skinning rack, and a 5-acre pecan orchard.
Generally the cost to build a house is based upon square footage, and it’s only an estimate. I would estimate about$150 / sq ft in MS. So figure about $1.5 million. Single story houses are cheaper to build than multiple story homes. That also would depend upon the embellishments. Cheap Home Depot fixtures or high end fixtures from a design center, type of foundation, basement, siding, flooring, etc.
