2006 rmz 250 oil issues at the light?

I winter my new RMZ 250 2006 a couple months ago to change oil and oil filter then purposly overfilled the crankcase with new clean oil. The plan was to empty the entire letter at the start of the season and then fill with the correct amount of oil in the correct grade of oil before my first race of the year. Ever since I overfill the crankcase has been no sign of oil in the crankcase when I look at Oil sight glass on the side of the bike. I was thinking that maybe if I started the machine after I changed the oil may be normalized, but havent tried anything yet.Plz help I changed the oil in all-terrain vehicles before, but i cannot figure this problem.

view makes the glass thread out, it is likely that only needs to be cleaned
