I am often asked which is better in a reef tank cleaner shrimp or fish? The fierce debate among the cleanest and scarlet cleaner wrasses shrimp. Each has its advantages and disadvantages, and I want to take a moment this week to outline each.
Old Cleaner – A bad choice, but efficient overall
The advantage of the cleaner fish is usually closer and clean larger fish can be intimidating to small shrimp clean.
