make a buggy for an ATV?
I was wondering if someone could give me some help. I was thinking about making a Dune Buggy (gokart) using quad parts of a scrap I have. I was thinking about using the front suspension, wheels, engine (350cc), brakes, and other things. the only problem I'm having is the design of a framework for this. I want to be a two-seater. I've been thinking and I'm not sure how to set the rear suspension without the chain becoming loose and tight every time I want a bump. I have seen exactly what you want! The trick with the rear suspension is to use the rear half of the original ATV frame. Welding for the rest of their new framework. Note that you will not be as low as go-cart or regular width and it can turn pretty easy. It is also likely that it will not be large enough to make a tandem. Use your control bar to control the pedals. Safety cage!
