Best to build a Dune Buggy welder?

I wonder what is the best welder would be for projects like building a buggy or other small things like that?

I prefer you can get MIG and flux-core wire to weld without shielding gas tank. I prefer to use gas, weld quality is much better. If you are looking for a brand name, you can not go wrong with a Miller.
