Buy Dirt Bike
If I were to buy a dirt bike in California, do I have to register and obtain a license?
I live in Orange County. I have only one car, so getting anywhere, even the dirt that would have to ride the bike in the main street, so assume I need to get registered. But How does this? … Once you go out in the desert like areas, I'm free to ride? I've never had a bike before, so any information would be much appreciated.
CA has plenty of laws on am / c. Do your research about what stickers (red / green) qualifies for a bike and where you want ride (dirt road) and has the parks / land. State Parks OHV require different labels so you can travel in different areas at different times the year. Yes, given their need to walk in the street, you need both a license and insurance.
