Can it affect your transmision if you put bigger tires on your atv?

I have a can am ds 250 and I want to put bigger tires on the back so it will lift it up a bit my factory tires now are 20x11x9 and im thinking about puting 25x11x9 on it would that hurt my transmision any or put any strain on anything else? reason why I am doing this is because my back end mostly were the chain part is, it bottoms out alot of places.

What your talking about effects machines with drive shafts and cv joints more than chain drive ones.

As the machine is lifted the angle on the shafts gets more extreme and causes the drive line to bind up and can contribute to failures. It’s enough of a problem and happens frequently enough that most factories are asking if the unit has a lift kit and/or bigger tires when calling for drive line warranty related issues.
