Dirt biking in Washington?
Hello, I'm looking into buying a dirt bike or something small like a crotch rocket. Need a license to ride one, and what age you would have to be to walk in the street, and require permits or etc? Keep in mind I am in Washington state. Thanks! I would also like to buy a dirt bike street legal, so I'm wondering if legal street bikes need tags and age requirements, etc.
I also live in Washington, cycling and mountain biking ANY form of street legal you need to be 18 years of age and have a motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license. You also need to have current tags, etc. You can ride bikes dirt road I am sure that at almost any age, with supervision. If you are looking for a decent sport bike as your first bike I would suggest buying a Kawasaki Ninja 250 2005-2007. It tops out around 105 mph, and gets 70 miles per gallon, and is relatively inexpensive to maintain. Furthermore, since you live in Washington, you arent required by law to have motorcycle insurance, which helps make this process much cheaper.
