Dirt Bikes Training Wheels

Is it safer to buy a stroller for four or dirt bike for my six years?

My six year old, never anything that has traveled not scooter and bike (without training wheels) and a skateboard. I want to buy a four-wheeler (quad) for him, but I heard that a dirt bike may be safer for him, that if something happens, he can jump. But with a quad, would have a harder time getting out of it. I am a little scary, but wants to start a horse myself, and although it could be a hobby for us to share a good bond.

get him a small 4-wheel and do not forget to look for a helmet.
