Dune Buggy Tires

Not street legal dune buggies must be of VW?

I have a '92 chevy astro sitting in the back. I wondered if I could take the body outside give over suspension, larger tires, and put a roll cage in it. if it could be street legal, would it still be a chevy astro? Basically I have a buggy sort of thing out of him, or maybe something like a big go-kart.

Forget it. I think the Astro is a uni-body design, and has no front to back of the frame. A good dune buggy has a frame of light weight and suspension tube DESIGNED FOR USE desert.
