Efi Atv
Atv is giving me problems: please, only people responding to this experience!?
I have a Polaris sportsman 500 EFI and I was riding around and when I leave the gas tap, the engine starts to bog down and die. In addition, random idling rpms up when I'm not touching the accelerator. I just changed the spark plug and oil recently that might have something to do with it? The new spark plug is a bit smaller than the one.Thanks old and need help fast because I have to use my atv to till tomorrow night-excpecting 14 inches of snow! Could it be bad gas? i havent changed the gas in more than two months, mainly because I havent been riding riding him very often.
You'll have to take it to your dealer and have them scan the computer to see what sensor has been packaged in.There are commonly three sensors to control fuel map sensor O2 sensor and engine temperature sensor.
