What should I do if I want to buy a moped or scooter to drive a road in San Gabriel, California?
Actually I have to save money on gas, so I'm thinking to get a moped in the near future. However, does anyone know what should I do if I buy a moped or scooter street legal? Do I have to buy insurance? "I can travel on the highway? Please help me with my question if you happen to know the answer. I forgot to ask what do after buying a motorcycle? How to enroll? With MSO, what is the next step?
You can not take a moped on the road and can not or a scooter that can reach highway speeds. If I were to ride a motorcycle on the highway, I would not feel comfortable in anything less than 400cc. Anything less and simply do not have enough power to accelerate in a safe enough. In order to ride the bike, you will have a M1 endorsement on your driver's license and insurance. Insurance Bikes are pretty cheap, I used to pay $ 80/yr responsibility only for my 50cc Zuma.
