know how to replace a piece of the scooter?

thinking of buying a gas scooter Geely / moped. the ad says you need a piston ring mm 43. this part is hard to find, install and cheap? The reason I ask this because I obviously do not know what a piston ring. Hence why I'm here. And no, I do not mind a few key rotation.
