Girls On Dirt Bikes

Are there girls / guys out there that dirt bike, or race?

Okay so I'm 15, a girl, 5 feet 7 inches and pounds 135. I wana mx race next summer, but now i ride a 100cc 4 stroke and I'm not going to need a better bike race, so I want to start practicing a lot this summer. I was looking for a 2-stroke I've found a good deal on (a 125 two stroke), but people are sayign can not compete, two-stroke bikes are considered BC compititional not, and that four times more competitive. So I was looking for a 250 four times. Do you think this bike has too much power for me? or will be too comes from a 100cc? Should I continue with the race in February? or go to the 250 race four. My dad said it was too powerful, but I figured, I'm gunna finally end in 250 soon because I am tall, and I should have one … What should I doooo !??!?! thanks so muchh! : Girls] out there: what bikes are you riding / racing? thankss!

Hi I have 15 years and I am 5 foot 10 125 pounds. Since you are right you can not run an 100cc 4. I would for a 250 4 stroke. The 125 race 2 has approximately the same, but the race 4 is a more competitive bike race. Power can be a bit high, but at least you has experince with motocross bikes and you must use it quickly. Try to geat a CRF250R. This is what I have and is a great bike for the race. This is also the height perfect for you. You have to practice well before the race as well. Go to the track and see some races and try to go as fast the next time you practice. In Arizona people in the beginner classes are up to 120 feet or more. So just practice and take it to this at first. I hope this helps
