Hardknock Mini Chopper

My Hardknock Kikker 5150 mini chopper will not start. What could be the problem?
Would it be the spark plug or carbuetor is dirty? Or it may be another problem?
Could be any of several problems. You have to start with the basics. Maybe they just flooded the engine. Remove the spark plug. With the throttle closed and the fuel was to turn the engine several times. Let the engine sit for an hour or less without the spark plug. Install a new spark plug and try to start. Does the engine have spark. To know that you have to remove the spark plug. Is the plug wet look? A symptom of any spark. Connect the cable spark plug and ground the metal portion of the plug to the structure. Turn the engine over with the ignition on. Did you see the spark? If so was a strong spark? If you have spark I would consider the fuel system. First check the obvious. It is the kill switch on? If you do not have spark that would start by replacing the spark plug. Check the fuses. If you still have no spark then suspect the CDI box or coil. Before you reinstall the spark plug to check compression. Place your finger over the spark plug hole. Turn off the engine again. Do you feel the air trying to escape the hole? If so, you have compression. If you have any serious internal engine issues. If you have the spark and compression, the problem is with the fuel system. If the plug was dry when I took this is a symptom not getting fuel. First check the obvious. It is the fuel shutoff valve open? Is there enough fuel in the tank? It is the fuel in the tank cool? Could someone has tampered with the fuel? It is possible that the fuel vent is blocked. Remove the gas cap and try to start the engine. If starts the fuel vent is blocked and needs to be replaced. Remove the carburetor fuel bowl. Was there fuel in the bowl? If your valve is not float needle is sticking or plugged. If the float has perhaps fuel in the carburetor passages are blocked. Time to rebuild the carburetor. If nothing else works or is beyond their capabilities is the time to take it to a mechanic.
