Vietnam drive car hire?

I know the dangers and pitfalls of the well, but at the same time it was always possible to rent bikes, driving rental car was out of the equation. Does anyone know any way self drive car rentals in or near Hanoi? Just an old Soviet jeep would! As an American, does not want to drive a vehicle with more than two wheels, you lack the patience lights. It has gotten much, much worse. As an American, never will harassed by the police but have to pay money to each Viet hit you or run over. Unless in very difficult Vn. Yet, when someone asks what and remains a challenge. If you think my advice is not good, the solution is to borrow a car from a friend or relative. Rent is not an option in my socio-economic development. lol
