Honda Atv Motorcycles

Thinking about a motorcycle instead of a car?
Well, my dad left me this 2004 Honda Pilot, that has barely been used, and I’m thinking of trading it in, or selling it to buy me a motorcycle. I know motorcycles are much less safe, and dangerous but I think I can handle it, I mean, i’ve been to glamis a couple times, and I’m fairly good with bikes. I’ve ridden anything from a gear bicycle to an ATV, shouldn’t be that hard right?
And if possible, tell me some fairly nice popular motorcycles. I was looking at Suzuki bikes and they looked nice.
NOTE: I HATE harley’s or any old looking bikes. Not trying to be offensive, but just letting you know.

Aw, heck. You’ve ridden a pedal bike and an ATV, you should be good to go on a motorcycle. NOT!
It isn’t so much the actual riding of the motorcycle as it is knowing what to do in order to stay alive. I ride a big Kawasaki cruiser (the kind you probably don’t like) and can tell you that surface streets and freeways are extremely dangerous if you aren’t prepared for what can happen.
Look, find a MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) Basic Rider Course in your area. They provide you with a bike for the class, and you provide basic safety gear. If you pass the course, you have passed the written and riding portions of your state exam to obtain your motorcycle endorsement (in most states). It’s the best money you’ll spend if you want to ride motorcycles.
