A motorcycle theft survey, conducted by specialized insurance motorcycles Carole Nash, has estimated that cyclists living in the North West London (NW) area are at greatest risk when it comes to theft.

After examining 117 primary zip codes United Kingdom, those in Greater London, according to eight of the ten highest risk areas, with Liverpool (unsurprisingly to popular stereotypical opinion) listed among the worst areas outside the capital. A biker living in Liverpool's L postcode is more than twice as likely to have their motorcycle stolen than the pilot average, while the cyclists who live in northwest London have more than five times as likely to have their bike stolen.
