What ATV To Buy?

I am thinking of buying my first ATV: o)! I know to stay away from Chinese brands like my brother has one who tried to give me! (No cable rear brake). I was thinking of a 450 cc. What would be better: Yamaha, Kawasaki, Honda or Suziki? I live in the Gippsland region in Victoria, Australia and really want to get into ATV Racing. I'm pushing 30 and I was wondering if any new contacts around my area give me some guidance to start racing and practice. I live on 42 acres so a song in my house there are concerns. Any help would be great!

suzuki and kawa themselves have been separated for some time. used some of the same pieces, but never were the same company. the suzuki 450 is the best one out there today.
