"I can calm down a 1976 Honda xr75 dirt bike? It has a solid tube and muffler.Can not find a new muffler.?

I tried to find a new muffler in vain and would probably be strong enough if I do. "I can cut the old muffler out and do something to calm down? My kids are driving the neighbors crazy.
