licensing a 5150 kikker 200cc bobber in california?

I was wondering if anyone has registered one of these in california? Talked to the guy who makes them and he said it is possible and he has had people do it!!! He said it was under a special construction! How do I do that? and what do I need to do in regards of the DMV and the bike?

If the manufacturer will not tell you the step by step process on how to get it registered it is OBVIOUSLY not an simple/easy thing to do. Rather than ask here I would ask the manufacturer how to, step by step — or spend your money on something that is not going to be a total headache.
