How much do you think a Lance Venice scooter cost?
I’m looking to buy a scooter to commute from my house to school. I thought about getting a vino 125 but they’re all gone. Now, I found this scooter from Lance called Venice and it’s 150cc. I went to the dealership and they told me about 3400 including freight, set-up, and DMV registeration but the sticker price is $2299. I don’t know if they’re screwing me or not. I tried to bring it down to 2850 and that’s how much they would give me. Any suggestions?
Lots of internet drop ship dealers for Lance scooters. You might be able to get one for around $1500 that way. You will be on your own to get it registered, you will have to do the PDI yourself (put parts of it together and inspect). Also you can’t always count on internet dealers to back warranties and such. If none of that bothers you you just need to be concerned about service. Will your local dealer work on a scooter that they didn’t sell or are you comfortable doing service yourself?
Scooters are really popular now and dealers have raised prices. So many are selling that they don’t feel a big need to negotiate, if you don’t buy it the next person will.
