Mint Clean

Half Dime mint and clean coins?
I have a nickel is really dull and you can see a weak mintmark but wanted whether there is a way to clean or to see the best without cleaning. There is a picture on the link below – the part of the half dime – from about the use magnify http://picasaweb.google.com/gen6363/Coins # top right
You did not mention a date, but appears to be a dime Seated Liberty half (dated 1860 to 1873). A mint mark is under the arch and it would be: S (San Francisco), O (New Orleans) or simple (Philadelphia), though I can not see one in the photo. Most collectors prefer to clean tarnish like this coin. I try to clean this coin, as it seems to be in very good condition, and cleaning only reduce the value. Do you have a magnifying glass of some kind that can help see the mint mark if there is one? I hope that helped.
