I have a peugeot moped Metal X, why the bike started cutting the engine when the prop?

I just had an engine re-build and the engine from behind in a spark is coming from where the stand at the bottom of the bike, when the bracket is removed the engine stops and will not resume until the foot is in contact.

Means you have a short in the frame, and is implementing a circuit there instead of cables that are supposed to work through.
