Does anyone have a motor / Moped Scooter?
I'm starting to shop for a scooter for use by the city and the rapid means of transport. The figure when I was young I did not mind zipping around in an old Puch moped, why not be a kid again and save some money on gas. I like travel the best. Look sleeker and more comfortable leaving room only for storage. Just was curious if anyone has one, on tour or not, and how you like. Much maintanined to keep operating? Is the gas or gas directly from the oil age and mix of these? Do you recommend or belt driven units are chain-driven, too? Thinking about a 150 or 250 cc. I have a tank company Urban Sports 150, the same as shown here. I like mine. It's great for everything down, useless if you need to go over 55 miles per hour. You will not find a scooter CVT of powertrain as the belt drive makes it possible for a CVT (continuously variable transmission) for operate.You going to give around 70-80 miles per gallon around town, but if you ride it wide open as long as you approach 60. Most 4-stroke scooters are not 2-stroke, which means using regular gasoline without oil mixture. Maintenance is basically an oil change and spark plugs, fuel filter, keeping the tire pressure, and you have to change the belt at some point. I have yet to change mine, and has 3,000 miles on it. I heard that a lot of people to start need a change 3000-4000 km. Depends on the brand.
