Moped Stores
Is it illegal to block my moped / motor scooter to a handicapped parking sign in a store parking lot?
I position it so that the parking spaces on both sides of the sign still provide enough space for one car, so technically it would not be taking the spots. Would it be illegal / ticket to me? I would hate to bring it up to a bicycle rack on the sidewalk because there is more potential for damage, as it is approved by all those entering and leaving the store, I would not want the wheel to the curb as I can not ride there, and I'd be afraid to be as visible as stolen. Besides, what if the place did not have a bike? PS: I'm not interested in knowing the difference between a motorcycle and a scooter. Thank you. I know because I've seen it all the world receives a conference, but I want people without regard to the search for questions about mopeds being able to find the mines and help. Thanks everyone.
I doubt you will be able to do that, who oversaw the parking lot will probably give you a warning or call to have a motorcycle / scooter removed. I've seen people in the chain bikes disabled signs or signs that say "reserved parking" and then comes security and eliminates the signal.
