UK statistics of moped accidents compared to car / bike crashes?

I'm doing an English report, trying to convince us that mopeds are not dangerous to less than 17 years old, compared with over 17s, driving a car or riding a bike. Of special interest for me, as I have 16 years in November, and the need to convince my mom too.
