I am 14 years living in Iowa, I'm thinking about buying a 150cc mopeds and motor scooters, do I need a license.?

I have 14 years of age, I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa I am looking to buy a 150cc scooter moped. I was wondering if I need a moped or motorcycle licensce for driving on public roads. If I do, then does anyone know if there is a 50-cc scooters that can go over 35 miles per hour. Also, if there is such thing as a moped license, what age you have to be to get one. Because I am sure that you have to be 16 to obtain a motorcycle license.
