How long does it take to bike from Chiang Mai to Pai or Mae Hon Song?

I'm only in Chiang Mai area for four days. I can choose to fly Mae Hon Song or bike. I like to see the landscape of a country but are concerned about the timeframe.

The road to Pai CM is quite winding and treacherous, especially Thailand because drivers do not concern themselves much with staying in the lanes … I think a minibus is approx 4 hours to Pai from CM, so the figure may 8 or 10 on a bike .. and you are risking your life .. – Serve MHS – only about 30 minutes .. good luck
