What is the cheapest way to get from Edinburgh to Warrington?

We are trying to find a cheap way to get to south of Warrington expect to collect a bike – as a way should do, but if cheap enough a backup of return would be the best.

Trains run from Scotland Warrington Bank Quay, but I think that is Glasgow. As far as the nearest airport, the Manchester or Liverpool, Manchester has direct trains to Warrington Central Liverpool its a bus to downtown by train to Warrington Central again.
