buying a bike in Melbourne …?

I want to buy a bike in Melbourne, but my budget is only $ 1500. I am looking on ebay but keep getting outbid bicycles are sold at a price higher than its actual value. so my question is, do you know any shops that sell cheap bikes around Melbourne or importers online to get a deep discount that from Asia. please let me know. willing to pay $ 2,000 for a new bike, but is unlikely to be so cheap. cheers:)

Go to www.bikesales.com and look there, you will struggle to find a cheap bike at a dealer, the dealer will be happy not to name to it and get through the workshop and in perfect conditions above before placing in the showroom, this be costly in a cheap bike hence the reason why which is not often done. Bicycle sales have lots more bicycles than the merchant. Happy hunting. PS if you are buying a road bike sure you have a clear title (no money owed on it) and check is stolen and the numbers match the rego, it is a pain, but if this is all ok you may lose your bike later.
