Trek Project One worth it?
I am looking to get a new bike and am very interested in the Project One Trek Bicycle (Madone 6.9). I love fully customize the idea of a bicycle. I currently ride a 7800 Cannondale Six13 Team Dura Ace. I love, is a great ride, but I'm itching for a new bike. I have about $ 8,000 to spend. I know a lot of people traveling walks, but I've been very impressed. (Except for the draft a few bikes I've seen.) My Cannondale dealer offered me a great measure of a trading update in my body and I could put in a full or something SuperSix Dura Ace 7900 or SRAM Red and some Zipp wheels good less than $ 5,000 out of pocket. Just do not know. I am very comfortable in Cannondale customer service and crash replacement / under the program update. I need some input Trek. Is it worth getting one of these projects? I welcome all serious comments and suggestions. I want my next bike to be "the bike."
What SuperSix framework offers? Cannondale frame makes regular coal and high modulus carbon. Also what year is the frame. 2010 frames are supposedly more rigid than the 2009 and prior frames. I personally prefer a well-equipped to SuperSix HiMod 2010 Madone 6.9. I also like the Zipp carbon wheels instead of the Bontrager wheels. Much depends on your style and preferences. You should try to test ride both before you spend all that money. Also, if you want it to be "the bike" to try and wait for Cervelo Project California.
