Polaris ATV chain adjustment?
Can someone explain how to adjust the chain on a Polaris Trail Blazer 250 ATV? I do not know what year it is.
http://www.bikebandit.com/parts Polaris – 2000 – 250 Trail Blazer rocker – # 18 – loosen the two clamping bolts (L & R) Rear Housing – # 14 – turn housing and the shaft will move forward or backward, adjust the chain tension. Cosult your owner's manual or shop manual for the specifications set the chain. If you do not have a shop manual, buy one! http://www.motocom.com/motorcycles/ Or contact a Polaris dealer for the specifications. If do not worry about your computer and just want to improvise – 40-50mm should work.
