Quad Bike Riding
"I can ride a quad on the road legally?
Just wanted to know, if I went through all the training necessary to drive safe, got a driver's license, took lessons quad, I have my insurance / put an ITV on the bike, and has all safety equipment on, it shall be lawful for ride on the road? I have heard many people say that Quad-Bikes can only Riden on private property or whatever. He also said that Quad-bikes are not legal for road use. BTW I live in the UK!
I'm sure you can, but it has to be a road legal quad lights (headlights, brake lights and light the reverse), indicators, tax and MOT. I've never seen a road legal quad on the road. I suppose the reason is because it is expensive to get that done legally, handling on the road is not good and slow. I would contact the Department of vehicles and licensing and double check, because there would restrictions on where you can drive (there is no way you can take one on a highway for example)
