best dirt bike for 19 year old male 220 pounds?
I have 19 years old, 6'0 and 220 pounds on. I've never ridden a dirt bike in my life before, but my friends have quads and dirt bikes and go riding all the time and want to start. I am looking for a bike to ride the trails in the forest or out in a field and have fun. I have $ 2,000 – $ 2,500 to spend on the bike and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. Also if you have any website to use to find used bikes for sale would also be useful.
I would recommend either increasing age (04-05 ') 450 four-stroke Honda or Kawasaki. Son great on trails and track. If not you could go with a 650 xr older or something similar. They are pigs and are very fun way. You can take any of these by the right price if you look in the right places. Make sure you go through the bike thoroughly and ask questions such as how to maintain the ect.ect has had big problems …. A good place to look is Craigslist.com many people use it because it's easy and free compared to the cycle operator or the newspaper. Either way you have fun and make sure to be safe.
