What is an alternative to a quad where I can buy one cheap?

(I'd rather recommend someone who could see in person or telephone) (I I live in Northern Ireland)

Not cheap when it comes to ATVs or as you call it a quad. Buying a bike brand because they are made with the best standards and parts are easily assessable. Id say go to Honda, you can not beat Honda quality and reliability, but if more easy in their power to get your hands on a Yamaha, Suzuki, Can-Am, Polaris and go for it. But again, do not buy a chincy backs imitation of the real is just put your car in danger of losing and a lot of money now.
